About Us
Todd Young P. Eng.
Todd founded Young Aerospace Group Limited after working in the aerospace industry for over 35 years. Todd previously held executive positions at both Longview Aviation / De Havilland Canada and Bombardier Aerospace.
While at Longview Aviation / De Havilland he held the positions of Senior Advisor to the Executive Chairman and was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) De Havilland Canada.
Todd's span of responsibility when he was COO included company oversight, aircraft sales, product development, Dash 8-400 aircraft manufacturing, as well as aftermarket support to the in-service fleet of Dash 8 aircraft (Dash 8-100/200/300/400).
Throughout his career at Bombardier Aerospace, which started in 1986, Todd held a variety of executive and leadership roles in engineering, production, methods, quality, business planning, program management, as well as worldwide customer services and support for the CRJ, Dash 8 and C Series aircraft programs. During his tenure with Bombardier Aerospace. he also served as the leader of the company's facility in Toronto, Ontario, and played an instrumental role in the development and entry-into-service program for the C Series aircraft (now known as the A220).
Todd is a passionate leader who uses his strong communication skills, self-directed enthusiasm and high personal energy to motive and influence teams.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, as well as his Professional Engineering License. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Aerospace Council since 2003, and as the Council's Chairman since 2006.
